About the event
MLA Rodrigo Loyola and Southwood Community League are partnering up to offer this exciting opportunity for youth 15+ to learn how to write and perform spoken word poetry.
Youth Spoken Word Seminars
There will be two seminars offered with known spoken word poets from Edmonton and a final Community Spoken Word Night for participants to showcase their work.
The seminars will take place on Sundays, February 9 & 16 from 10 AM to 12 Noon at MLA Loyola's Constituency Office (5732 - 19A Avenue NW). Lunch will be provided.
The final Community Spoken Word Night performance will take place on Thursday, February 27 at the Southwood Community League (1880) 37 Street NW)
